Important Update: Core Service and Security Enhancements for 2026

Dear Valued Clients,

As your trusted Managed IT Services Provider, we are committed to delivering practical, effective, and transparent IT and security services tailored to your business needs. Over the past year, the IT and security landscape has continued to evolve rapidly, with threats becoming more sophisticated and customer expectations for protection and availability increasing accordingly. To continue providing industry-aligned service and protection — especially for small business environments — we are updating our Core Services and Security Standards for 2026.

Why Are These Changes Necessary?

The changes outlined below reflect real shifts in industry costs, service expectations, and threat dynamics:

Increased Security Demands

Cybersecurity threats are more advanced and frequent than ever. Attackers target small businesses because they often lack robust security controls. Effective protection now requires 24/7 monitoring, automated detection and response, identity threat management, and centralized security visibility. These capabilities are foundational components of modern security frameworks, not optional add-ons.

Evolving Technology Landscape

Remote work, hybrid environments, and cloud adoption continue to expand. This has increased reliance on technologies such as endpoint security, identity management, web/content filtering, compliance reporting, and automation. To manage these environments effectively and safely, we must align with modern tooling and operations.

Transparency and Value

Our updated billing structure improves clarity around what services you receive and why those services are priced as they are — giving you clear visibility into the value delivered, rather than opaque “bundled” fees.

What Changes Are We Making?

Expanded Service Coverage

We have refined our billing to reflect protected users, endpoints, and per-site coverage aligned to how services are consumed and supported. This gives a clearer mapping between your usage and costs.

Security Operations Center (SOC) Services

We are integrating 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) capabilities into our core service offerings for most customers.

SOC services deliver:

  • Continuous Monitoring & Detection across network, endpoints, cloud, and identity systems.

  • Centralized Logging & Correlation to reveal multi-vector threats.

  • Intelligent Alerting & Noise Reduction so real risks are prioritized.

  • Incident Investigation & Threat Hunting, proactively identifying hidden threats.

  • Compliance Logging & Reporting for audit and insurance requirements.

  • Access to experienced security analysts working around the clock.

These capabilities provide outcomes that go beyond basic device patching or reactive support — they help detect, investigate, and respond to threats that affect real business risk.

Automated SOAR Actions

In addition to SOC, we now include Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR)-driven actions where appropriate. When certain threat criteria are met, our system can automatically:

  • Reset compromised or risky accounts

  • Reset multifactor authentication (MFA) settings

  • Disable suspicious accounts

  • Isolate or disconnect impacted endpoints

  • Generate tickets and alerts for follow-up

These automated responses help contain threats quickly and consistently, without waiting for manual intervention.

Endpoint Protection and Management

We continue to include advanced endpoint protection (e.g., SentinelOne or equivalent), automatic patching and health monitoring, and policy enforcement across all managed devices.

Identity & Access Management

Identity threats are among the most common attack vectors. Our updated services include MFA enforcement, suspicious login detection, session revocation, and identity policy governance.

Content Filtering & Web Protection

Protection from web-based threats, phishing, and unsafe content remains part of our end-to-end security posture.

Streamlined Support

We continue to refine helpdesk services and escalation workflows to improve responsiveness and consistency across all customers.

Pricing Adjustments

Why Pricing Must Change

To continue providing 24/7 monitoring, automated response tooling, and robust security platforms, we must adjust pricing to reflect:

  • License cost increases from security and infrastructure vendors

  • Ongoing investment in SOC tooling, automation, and analyst staffing

  • Industry-standard security operations practices

  • Compliance and reporting requirements tied to cyber-insurance and regulatory expectations

These are real costs shared across the industry and form the basis for delivering true continuous security services, not partial or minimal coverage.

Our Pricing Philosophy

We serve primarily small and mid-sized businesses — including organizations with as few as 5 users and most under 100 users — and we structure pricing with these key principles:

  • Fairness: Pricing aligns with the actual services delivered.

  • Clarity: You can see what you are paying for and why.

  • Industry Alignment: Costs are benchmarked against standards in MSP/MSSP security services.

  • Practical Security: You receive meaningful protection without paying for unused or excessive features.

Our goal is to remain affordable, transparent, and aligned to real security outcomes, not just tool check-boxes.
